大川直也｜NAOYA OHKAWA
1989年1月23日、神奈川県生まれ。
20歳でグラフィックデザイナーとして独立、ARTELIAを立ち上げる。
CDのパッケージや広告デザインを中心に、映像や写真、WEBサイトの制作を請け負う。
27歳でグラフィックデザイナーとしての活動を終了、2016年末の『芸術宣言』以降、芸術・美術の分野で活動。
自身の創作活動の他、FINLANDSのCDジャケットをはじめとした全てのアートワーク、sumika、藍坊主など多数のアーティストとのコラボレーションで、ロゴやグッズ、CDジャケット、MV、WEBサイトを制作している。
2018年9月、渋谷にて初の個展を開催。
南米や南国の音楽や文明、中国・シルクロードの美術と文化、アフリカ・グレートジャーニーの装飾や記録、欧米の文学やロックンロール・ジャズ・ヒップホップ・テクノ、日本の縄文時代や江戸時代の芸術作品・アニメーションと漫画など、古今東西の芸術や文化、科学、自然現象から影響を受け掘り下げた独自の研究をもとに、写真や油彩画、グラフィックアート、詩、文章などの創作活動を行なっている。

PROFILE
Naoya Ohkawa was born in Kanagawa, Japan on January 23, 1989(age 29) .
He started his own buisiness as a graphic designer and established “ARTELIA” at the age of 20.
He contracted mainly for CD cover art, advertisement, WEBSITE and also photographs and movies.
Ended work as a graphic designer at the age of 27, He is working in the fine art after his “Declaration of the art”.
He working in private works, all art work of FINLANDS(band) and logo, merchs and CD art works collaboration with sumika(band), aobozu(band) and many musicians.
He makes photographs, oil painting, graphic art, poetry and prose based on his original research into art, culture, science, technology and natural phenomenon of all times and places : music and civilization in South America and southern islands, arts and cultures in china and silk road, ROCK’N’ROLL, JAZZ, HIP HOP, TECHNO and literature in Europe and America, arts of JOMON and EDO in Japan, manga and animation.
